From November 20 and 21, Wang Xiaohui, Secretary of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of Sichuan Provincial People's Congress, made an inspection tour in Nanchong City and Dazhou City. He stressed the need to thoroughly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions regarding Sichuan's work, ensure the full execution of the strategies decided during the sixth plenary session of the 12th CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee, harness the momentum of further deepening reform comprehensively, devote all efforts to boosting economic growth and advancing construction progress, develop new quality productive forces in line with local conditions, steadfastly promote high-quality development, and endeavor to make significant contributions to Sichuan's modernization efforts.
Upon reaching each destination, Wang Xiaohui began by attending the comprehensive work briefings from the municipal Party committee and the municipal government. He meticulously assessed the two cities' adherence to the decisions and plans set by the Party Central Committee, as well as the implementation of the guidelines from the sixth plenary session of the 12th CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee, and acknowledged the progress and successes in their endeavors. He noted that Nanchong and Dazhou, as key cities in the northeastern region of Sichuan, play a crucial role in the province's overall development strategy. The two cities should work with relentless persistence to advance the implementation of guidelines from the third plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and the sixth plenary session of the 12th CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee, actively engage in and support the development of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle, further deepen reform comprehensively, drive high-quality development across all sectors, achieve more substantial progress in fostering the northeastern Sichuan economic sub-center through their collaborative efforts, and take the lead in accelerating the revitalization and expansion of the Northeast Sichuan Economic Zone. Wang Xiaohui stressed that with just over a month left in the year, Nanchong and Dazhou must rise to their crucial responsibility as major economic powerhouses in the province, muster their energy and strive for excellence, meticulously align with and implement the central government's raft of incremental policies, prioritize concrete projects to drive progress, further capitalize on their strengths and advantages, and take more robust measures to shore up weaknesses and expedite development, in a bid to strive for accomplishing the economic and social development targets for this year.

During the inspection, Wang Xiaohui delved into the forefront of industrial and agricultural production, gaining insights into the cultivation of new quality productive forces and the digital empowerment of traditional industries, among other key aspects. At the Sichuan Zhongjing Space Technology Company in Shunqing District and the Sichuan Chuanjing Technology Company in Gaoping District, Wang Xiaohui attentively examined product displays, toured production facilities to observe the intelligent manufacturing processes, and inquired in detail about relevant situations, such as the companies' business operations and the applications of their products. He encouraged the companies to persistently boost their products' core competitiveness through ongoing technological innovation. At the Dazhou Digital Economy Industrial Park in Dachuan District, Wang Xiaohui received a briefing on the development of the local big data industry. He emphasized the need to capitalize on the strategic initiative to channel more computing resources from the eastern areas to the less developed western regions, solidly advance the construction of new-type infrastructure, expand the digital application scenarios, and ensure that the digital economy effectively underpins the growth of the real industry. At the Kaijiang County Smart Agriculture and Sci-Tech Innovation Center, Wang Xiaohui inspected and guided the late autumn production activities, as well as learned about the progress of developing smart and efficient agriculture through digital means. He emphasized the significance of enhancing the role of science and technology in empowering agriculture so that we can increase agricultural output efficiency, boost the total factor productivity of the agricultural sector, and continuously reinforce the overall agricultural production capacity. The advancement of high-quality development is inseparable from a stable and orderly social environment. Wang Xiaohui toured the Dazhou City People Reception Center, where he inspected the operation of the reception counters for public complaints. He meticulously inquired about the primary types of public complaints and the procedures involved in their processing, among other aspects of the work. Afterward, he entered the public complaints office, where he attentively heard the issues presented by the visitors and inquired about the details with concern. In response to the concerns raised, including unpaid wages for migrant workers, the dilapidated state of the weir pond, and the inconvenience of accessing medical treatment and medication, he engaged in on-site discussions with pertinent local authorities to devise solutions. Noting that everything related to people's interests is too important to be taken lightly, Wang Xiaohui emphasized the need to uphold and enhance the Fengqiao model for promoting community-level governance in the new era, address public complaints with empathy and a sense of duty, promptly respond to the legitimate needs of the people, and ensure that our engagement with the people who approach us are delivered with meticulous and concrete efforts. With the year-end nearing, all regions and departments must enhance the management of risks from the source, conduct comprehensive investigations into unresolved public complaint cases, effectively defuse a range of conflicts, disputes, and potential risks, prioritize solving pressing difficulties and problems that concern the people most, ensure rigorous implementation of workplace safety protocols, and safeguard overall social stability.

Since arriving in Sichuan, the Central Third Ecological and Environmental Protection Inspection Team has handed over several batches of public complaints and reports to the province and notified typical cases. Wang Xiaohui is deeply concerned with the progress of the rectification efforts. During his inspection, Wang Xiaohui received a briefing on the rectification of typical cases and public complaints reported through the Central Ecological and Environmental Protection Inspection. He also conducted on-site inspections and offered guidance to enterprises on effectively implementing environmental protection measures. He stressed the need to advance the rectification of ecological and environmental issues with a strong sense of political responsibility, devise targeted rectification plans and specific measures, broadly apply the lessons learned to effectively combat pollution, systematically advance ecological restoration and protection, continuously enhance the quality of the ecological environment, and better support high-quality development with a high-quality eco-environment.
During his inspection tour, Wang Xiaohui also visited the Sichuan Province Giant Puppet Theater in Nanchong City. There, he gained insights into the initiatives for preserving and passing on the North Sichuan Gian Puppet, a national intangible cultural heritage item. He emphasized that, as the sole inheritance unit of the North Sichuan Giant Puppet, the theater needs to safeguard, transmit, and leverage this invaluable legacy, pursue creative transformation and innovative development, and continually infuse traditional culture with new era connotations.
